31st Annual Ridgefield Pamby Motors Half Marathon! | |

JOIN US FOR THE 31st ANNUAL RIDGEFIELD PAMBY HALF MARATHON! Our 2007 Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 7 at 8:30 a.m. The USAT&F certified course consists of an out, almost 4.5-mile double loop and return through the beautiful Ridgefield countryside. There are six aid/water stations and every mile will be marked. The fee is $20 pre-entry or $25 post/raceday entry. T-shirts to all pre-registered runners. The race starts behind the Richard Venus Municipal Building which is on the corner of Governor Street and East Ridge. It is adjacent/opposite the Ridgefield Police Station. Race day registration, number/T-shirt pick up takes place in Yanity Gym, which is in the Richard Venus Municipal building. See directions below. | |
Sign up for the Race. There are two ways to register for the Half Marathon. You can register online through active.com by clicking on this button. 
The mail-in application will be available shortly. Course Map. We now have a COURSE MAP up on the site. We'll try to get one that's a bit larger. Right now, this is all that we have. To make it larger, click to open the map, then right mouse-click on the map. Save the document as a bitmap. Then you'll be able to make the map larger. Directions. If you are heading North via Rt 33 (eg. from Wilton & area), take Rt 33 until it intersects with Rt 35, at the Fountain. Continue STRAIGHT, getting onto Rt. 35 north. This will take you into downtown Ridgefield. Take a right at your first light onto Governor Street. Follow Governor Street directions, below. If you are heading East from Rt. 35, take Rt 35 into downtown Ridgefield. (Rt 35 makes a left at the Fountain, and continues on into Ridfgefield. ). At first light, make a right onto Governor Street. Follow Governor Street directions, below. If you are heading South from Rt 7, take Rt 7 (past the Danbury Mall) until it intersects with Rt 35. Rt 35 starts at this point so you can go in only one direction. Bear right and get onto Rt 35. Stay on Rt 35 for a few miles. You will eventually pass a Stop & Shop/Kohls shopping center on the right. After you go straight through the lighted intersection with an Exxon/Mobil Station to your right, the road will bend to the left and you will go under a blinking light. At your THIRD traffic light, take a left onto Governor Street. Follow Governor Street directions, below. If you are heading East or West from I 84, take Exit 3/ Rt 7 Norwalk. Follow directions above. From Governor Street On Governor street, at the first stop sign/intersection, you will see the old high school up to your left. Continue straight at intersection/stop sign, crossing over East Ridge. Take first left into the parking lot and park wherever you can find a spot. | |
